Kalbarri Rainbow Jungle
Sculpture Exibition

September 11 To October 10  2010

This Exhibition is once again for sculptures, wall hangings and water features. Our theme is “Come Out, Come Out,
Wherever You Are! Artists will find Rainbow Jungle an interesting and challenging environment to consider in designing
their entry. Why not have a go?

I am also happy to announce that once again we are able to provide a bit of incentive in the form of $200.00 for all artists
beyond the Midwest who exhibit. This is not a great deal of money I know but I am sure it will help defer the cost of
getting you up here to check out the venue, to set up your artwork or to attend the opening on the 10th of September
2010. It’s going to be a great event and a good opportunity to combine work with pleasure and spend a couple of days
enjoying Kalbarri and all it has to offer.

With nearly 6000 people from all over Australia passing through the Exhibition last year there is plenty of incentive to get
your work up here and out there for all to enjoy. Conditions of Entry and an Entry Form are already available for
download on the website so take a look or pass on the information to someone with as much talent as you. It is very much appreciated.

Questions? Click and write or call and I will be glad to get you on the right track to Kalbarri.

Yours sincerely,

Rainbow Jungle Kalbarri Sculpture Exhibition 2010                           May Newsletter

Just a reminder that there is still about a month to go for entries to the Rainbow Jungle Kalbarri Sculpture Exhibition 2010. Closing date for submission of entries is June 22.

Want an entry form? Go to www.rainbowjunglekalbarri.com and click on “Sculpture Exhibition” at the top of the home page. When the Sculpture Exhibition page opens just scroll to the very bottom and click for “Entry Form” and/or “Conditions of entry” for a download. It is that easy.

Note that: As an incentive for artists we are once again able to offer a $200.00 grant for all successful entries by sculptors and artists beyond the Midwest region. This is to assist with expenses to bring yourself and your work to Kalbarri for the show in September.

As well, we regularly have staff and volunteers travelling between Perth and Kalbarri and in many cases can assist with transport of artworks to and from Kalbarri for the Show.

Plenty of space for sculptures and plenty of room for wall hangings and can also accommodate numerous water features in the six ponds and waterfalls of the Jungle environment. There is a gallery of sculpture images on the website showing most of the work from the 2008 Show and this should give you a pretty good idea of the potential of this spectacular Jungle environment.

FOR A GOOD TIME: The official opening of the Exhibition is at 4pm on Friday the 10th of September at the Rainbow Jungle cinema complex and it is one of the biggest and best parties of the year in Kalbarri. Do plan to attend as it is not only a great arts event but a good chance to catch up with artists and sculptors from across the State.

Please feel free to contact me for information for accommodation for the opening. While there is plenty of room in town keeping mind that September is the height of our wildflower and whale watching season in the Midwest and you are advised to book early for the best accommodation.

See You In The Jungle!
