The Annual Kalbarri Sports Fishing Classic 2010

A River Bottom & Game Fishing Tournament in the Classic style.

 

Tha Kalbarri Off Shore & Angling Club invites you to the largest annual organised event in Kalbarri. The classic held over the Labout Day weekend is the park fishing time for mackerla & Tuna during the best weather of the year.

Teams of 2 to 5 angles or individual river angles are invited to compete in this prestigious tournament where the best fishing is available within th estate for great prizes in 37 categories.

Worlds Greatest Shave

Did you know that the Leukaemia Foundation World's Greatest Shave is on again this year?

The Tav is proudly sponsoring the event again this year, to be held on: 12th March for 6:00pm

 

I'm taking part - so why don't you? For $1,500 I will dye my hair purple (and leave it that way for 4weeks) for $2,000 I will shave the lot!

 

If you can't join in, you can support me instead.

Contact the Tav if you are interested in participating or to make donation to me or the other team members who are taking part in the event.

Come in on the 12th March and watch the brave souls taking part - and kick in a donation! We ranked 16th in the State last year for fundraising efforts - please help us do better this year!

This Exhibition is once again for sculptures, wall hangings and water features. Our theme is “Come Out, Come Out,
Wherever You Are! Artists will find Rainbow Jungle an interesting and challenging environment to consider in designing
their entry. Why not have a go?
 
I am also happy to announce that once again we are able to provide a bit of incentive in the form of $200.00 for all artists
beyond the Midwest who exhibit. This is not a great deal of money I know but I am sure it will help defer the cost of
getting you up here to check out the venue, to set up your artwork or to attend the opening on the 10th of September
2010. It’s going to be a great event and a good opportunity to combine work with pleasure and spend a couple of days
enjoying Kalbarri and all it has to offer.
 
With nearly 6000 people from all over Australia passing through the Exhibition last year there is plenty of incentive to get
your work up here and out there for all to enjoy. Conditions of Entry and an Entry Form are already available for
download on the website so take a look or pass on the information to someone with as much talent as you. It is very much appreciated.

Blues and boogie - full tilt.

Bridie King is one of Australia's top Blues and Boogie pianists. She leads the piano based blues and boogie outfit, Bridie King with The Boogie Kings and the Harmony Queens.

Bridie and her band deliver rockin' blues, soul drenched ballads, good-time boogie and honky-tonk.

 

This Annual concert is held on the beautiful grounds of Murchison House Station.
