Kalbarri Offshore & Angling Club welcomes you to the largest annual organised event in Kalbarri. The "Classic" held over the Labour Day long weekend of the 2nd, 3rd & 4th March 2012 is in the peak fishing time for Mackerel & Tuna during the best weather of the year. The "Classic" offers game fishing for 3 species of Mackerel, 6 Species of Tuna, Samson Fish, Yellow-tail kingfish, Snapper, Trevally, and Cobia. It also offers prime bottom fishing for big Dhufish, Snapper, Baldchin Groper, Coral Trout, Cods & Trevally as well as a river section for individuals with 13 estuary species.
Teams of 2-5 anglers or individual river anglers are invited to compete in this prestigious tournament where the best fishing is available in the State for great prizes in 37 categories.
