Western Australian wildflowers in Kalbarri
Did you know that Western Australia has the largest variety of wildflowers in the world? From July to October, more than 12,000 wildflower species carpet the Mid West region with their vivid beauty and lush scent, 60 per cent of which are found nowhere else on Earth.
Kalbarri wildflowers
Beginning in late June, the dry sand plains and coastal gorges of Kalbarri National Park transform into a lush Garden of Eden. In the five months that follow, over 1,100 species of Western Australian wildflowers will burst into bloom across the Kalbarri region.
