Thankyou for choosing a Murchison House Station Tour. We are looking forward to meeting you and will do our best to ensure you have a fantastic day. To make sure you are prepared for this adventure here are a few things for you to consider. Tours depart from the Kalbarri Visitor Centre car park at 8am sharp. We request that you arrive 15 minutes prior to this. A station vehicle will be there to meet you and guide you out to the station homestead. It is a requirement that you have a reliable 4WD vehicle. We do reserve the right to refuse entry to any vehicle that we deem unsuitable. Please ensure you have a full tank of fuel and at least one spare tyre in good order. WHAT TO BRING - below are some suggested items for you to bring along. Please remember this is the outback and there are no shops, fuel stations, formal loos or McDonalds!!! It is an uncontrolled environment. Drinking water (we recommend 5lt per person) Food - Morning tea is provided, however you will need to bring your own lunch and some snacks to last the day. Hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and adequate footwear - we are going into the bush and this is Australia!! Bathers and towel - for those who would enjoy a lunch time dip in the Murchison River. A chair or picnic blanket. Your camera and spare film. WHAT NOT TO BRING - for your own safety and the safety of others we do not allow the consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs on this tour. We anticipate a return time of approximately 2.30 pm but please allow for unexpected delays.
