Perth to Kalbarri by Car
It's an easy six to seven-hour drive from Perth to Kalbarri by road.
There are two routes when travelling from Perth:
1) The Brand Highway and then onto North West Coastal Highway at Geraldton, 590kms from Perth CBD = 6-7 hours drive
2) The scenic route following the new Indian Ocean Drive, which takes you just south of Dongara turning onto the Brand Highway, then onto North West Coastal Highway at Geraldton, 575km from Perth CBD = 6-7 hours drive

When visitors reach Northampton there are two entrances into Kalbarri
* Coastal route, turning onto the "Port Gregory Kalbarri Rd" at Northampton and passing historic Port Gregory, Lucky Bay, Wagoe Beach and then Kalbarri
—1 Hour duration, 100km
OR
* The Inland North West Coastal route, travelling into Kalbarri via the Ajana / Kalbarri road, passing inland scenery and the turn off to the Kalbarri National Park
—1 Hour and 10 mins Duration = 110 km
Catch the bus
You can bus it to Kalbarri with TransWA and Integrity coach services. Timetables, ticket prices and route details are available from the TransWA and Integrity websites. If you are already in Kalbarri, the Visitor Centre is a booking agent for both Transwa & Integrity Bus Services.
