Kingfisher Tours embraces the adventure of the Kimberley region with our extraordinary tour experiences. We operate from Broome to Darwin including the Bungle Bungle Range, Lake Argyle, Kununurra, Halls Creek and the Mitchell plateau. Experience the beauty of these landscapes by Air, 4WD and on foot. We are a signature experience for Tourism Australia and a Green leader with Eco Tourism Australia. All of our guides are local Aboriginal custodians of the country you are touring on. They are the dream team!
This is small group (max 12) touring at it's best, our ground tours boast local produce and some bush tucker for lunches, or our fresh mango jams and chutneys from the local farms. Your guides will also point out local bush tucker and medicinal flora in the area. Our overnight packages, your accommodation will be in APT’s Wilderness Lodges in Purnululu and the Mitchell Falls. Being Kimberley locals, we are always happy to organise bespoke journeys for our guests, with our Aboriginal guides on culturally immersive small group adventures.
On the planes our guests always have a window seat when flying so as not to miss any elements of the immersive landscape and our 4WD’s on the ground are air-conditioned Toyotas.
Kingfisher tours firmly believe that tourism will change the world, because people want to save the things that they love. People need to have a connection with wildlife, with the natural world, what Kingfisher tours brings to this is not only the awareness about visiting a place and understanding why it needs protecting, but also about the on the ground, walking the walk, and who better to do that with than the local Aboriginal custodians for country guides at Kingfisher tours.
We have introduced several initiatives to minimise the single-use plastic in the business and continue to encourage other tour operators, in particular our partners to do the same. We also have a local employment strategy, so our guests will be received by a local Kimberley resident.

Kingfisher Tours head office is located on the corner of Messmate Way and Konkerberry Drive in the main street of Kununurra.
We are sandwiched between Corner Side Cafe and Wild Mango Cafe.
We also fly out of Broome and Darwin.

Cancellation Policy
BOOKING TERMS
All bookings are made on request and tour operations are subject to minimum passengers numbers.
CANCELLATION POLICY
DAY TOURS
Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to tour departure will receive a 100% refund of your tour price.
DAY TOURS
Cancellations made less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours prior to tour departure will receive a 50% refund.
DAY TOURS
Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to tour departure will receive no refund.
Kingfisher tours reserves the right to cancel or postpone any tour due to cultural seasonal or road conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. In these instances a credit will be given towards another tour, or a 100% refund.
OVERNIGHT AND AIR SAFARIS
Cancellations made 45 days prior to departure will be refunded 100% cancellations made under 45 days to 30 days 80% will be refunded under 30 days will receive 50% refund. Under 7 days will receive no refund.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Most tours require you to walk on uneven surfaces rocky and muddy tracks and up inclines and require an appropriate, surefooted level of fitness. Please ask if you are unsure if your fitness level is right for the tour you are undertaking.
Whilst every precaution will be taken for the safety of participants no liability of any kind whatsoever can be taken in the event of death accident injury loss or damage to person and property or cost of emergency evacuations on these tours. This exclusion of liability shall apply to
Kingfisher Tours and be for the benefit of it’s agents servants and representatives.
Kingfisher Tours will not be responsible for expenses incurred by you as a result of your booking or any cancellation.
